Women’s Support Services

Need assistance settling in Canada?

We provide confidential counselling services to assist newcomer women and their children who have previously or are currently experiencing domestic abuse. We also offer individual and group services focused on assisting newcomer women to live without violence and improve their emotional wellbeing and healing. 

The goal here is to help women to live without violence. Services are provided for women currently experiencing domestic violence and for women that have experienced domestic or family violence in the past. Our services are provided at no cost!

Crisis and support counselling to help individuals seeking immediate assistance.

Linking women to appropriate services in the community that address legal, housing, financial and long-term counselling needs.

The Transitional Housing Support Worker provides support services for newcomer women who are receiving Women’s Support Services to assist them in accessing community supports that will help them find and maintain housing.

Services are provided in Spanish, Arabic, Polish, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English.  (Peel Region only)
