Newcomer Support Services

Need assistance settling in Canada? We help newcomers of all ages in adjusting and integrating into Canadian society with individual support services and group sessions in over 30 languages at our locations in Scarborough, Mississauga, and Brampton, as well as in libraries, community centres and partner organizations. We provide individual assessments of settlement needs and help newcomers develop a detailed plan. We assist with the completion of government forms and applications, and preparations for the Canadian citizenship test. We conduct information sessions to illustrate what life is like in Canada, including volunteer and community engagement opportunities. We connect newcomers to social networks and community services for health, housing, education, childcare, employment, finance, immigration, post-secondary education, language learning and legal supports. We also facilitate community service programs for women, including one-on-one and group activities to establish social networks and develop skills needed for employment.
