Canadian Tax System

Participants will learn the basic functions of the Canadian Tax System, get an understanding of why Canadians pay taxes and receive critical information about important documents needed to file their annual income tax return. Information on how filing tax returns impact the benefits received by Canadian residents will be explained. You will learn to navigate the Canada Revenue Agency’s website to find relevant information and connect with free tax clinics in the community.
