Schools are often the first point of entry for newcomers as education is an important aspect for parents in the settlement of their children Settlement and Education Partnerships in Toronto (SEPT) is a school-based program that helps newcomer students and their families settle in their school and community. SEPT staff from CCS connects newly arrived families to a variety of government and community services and resources in order to help them settle and succeed.
